Five U.S. Finalists Named in IsaBody Challenge to Compete for $25,000
Isagenix International, a global health and wellness company providing nutrition and lifestyle solutions, has announced the first five U.S. finalists of its annual total-body transformation program, the IsaBody Challenge®. The first Judging Period’s finalists are Christine Kuhlman of Ottawa, Ohio; Jodi Hall and her son Matthew Hall of Saranac, Michigan; Raymond Cataline of Stockton, California; and Vinny Bucaj of Marietta, Georgia.
These five individuals were selected out of the thousands of people across the United States who completed the IsaBody Challenge during the most recent Judging Period. Finalists will compete for a chance to win the grand prize of $25,000 or the runner-up prize of $10,000. They will also receive a $3,000 prize, an all-expenses-paid trip to the IsaBody™ Escape for themselves and a guest, and other prizes to recognize their achievements.
Each finalist will be introduced onstage at the New Year Kick Off 2020 event in January in Phoenix in front of nearly 5,000 attendees. The grand prize winner and runner-up will also be announced at this inspiring event. The IsaBody Challenge and New Year Kick Off are both hosted by Isagenix.
“Thousands participate in the IsaBody Challenge each year, and we’re thrilled to congratulate these five individuals for all they’ve achieved by pairing dedication with our incomparable nutrition solutions,” said Travis Ogden, chief executive officer of Isagenix. “They are an inspiration to everyone here at Isagenix as well as to their communities and — most importantly — their families and loved ones.”
Meet the Finalists
Christine Kuhlman, Ohio
Total Challenges Completed: 4
Total Weight Loss Over Completed Challenges: 103 pounds*
Tired of feeling older than their age and lacking energy to do their typical fun summer activities, Christine and her husband started their wellness journey in 2017. They changed from self-described couch potatoes to energetic, happy, and outgoing 50-year-olds enjoying life to the fullest. Happy with the results they had achieved, they encouraged their adult children to give Isagenix products a try. The family has collectively lost over 200 pounds,* and Christine recently completed her first half marathon.
Jodi Hall, Michigan
Total Challenges Completed: 5
Total Weight Loss Over Completed Challenges: 17 pounds*
Overweight and struggling to look and feel like herself, at 54, Jodi wasn’t ready to accept defeat. Despite having low energy and feeling stuck, she knew she needed to try something other than eating less and exercising more. Once Jodi began using Isagenix products consistently, she saw her life change with renewed energy, weight loss, and muscle tone increase, as well as renewed balance and personal peace.
Matthew Hall, Michigan
Total Challenges Completed: 2
Total Weight Loss Over Completed Challenges: 20 pounds*
During his time as a college football player, Matthew had to achieve and maintain a playing weight of 270 pounds. After graduation, he wanted to lose about 50 pounds. However, due to recovering from injuries that limited his time in the weight room, he was concerned about also losing strength. At his mother’s suggestion, he turned to Isagenix. By incorporating the company’s weight loss and performance solutions into his routine, Matthew was able to drop body fat while maintaining lean muscle.
Raymond Cataline, California
Total Challenges Completed: 6
Total Weight Loss Over Completed Challenges: 10 pounds*
The IsaBody Challenge has helped Raymond in more ways than one. After identifying his patterns of weight gain and loss and considering how body image affected his habits, he made healthy changes that allowed him to lean out and build muscle. During this process, the IsaBody community provided the friendships and support he needed to embrace a healthier lifestyle, one that now includes CrossFit, powerlifting, yoga, and meditation, as well as helping others to reach their health goals.
Vinny Bucaj, Georgia
Total Challenges Completed: 7
Total Weight Gain Over Completed Challenges: 5 pounds of lean muscle*
Vinny is a former lieutenant firefighter whose fire career was cut short by an injury, leaving him in physical and emotional pain. As he endured numerous surgeries and procedures, he felt himself spiraling out of control. Mood swings and feelings of loneliness, disappointment, and shame threatened to overwhelm him. Then his wife encouraged him to give Isagenix a try. Now Vinny has regained control, reached his goal of gaining lean muscle, and returned to being the husband and father his wife and daughters knew before his injury.

*Weight loss, muscle gain, lifestyle, and other results depicted here reflect exceptional individual experiences of Isagenix customers and should not be construed as typical or average. Results vary with individual effort, body composition, eating patterns, time, exercise, and other factors, such as genetic and physiological makeup. A two-phase 2016 study published by researchers at Skidmore College showed an average weight loss of 24 pounds after 12 weeks. The study evaluated the use of Isagenix products in men and women for weight loss followed by weight maintenance. During the weight maintenance phase, the subjects who continued the calorie-controlled program using Isagenix products better maintained their weight loss in comparison to those who transitioned to a traditional diet after 52 weeks.
