Global Health and Wellness Leader Donates Time Across the World on Isagenix Global Give Back Day

Isagenix International, a global health and wellness company, hosted its first-ever Global Give Back Day on May 7 at its new world headquarters. The successful corporate-created event was led by the company’s START group, entrepreneurs ages 18-35.

The global initiative spanned nine countries: the United States, Australia, Canada, Colombia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Mexico, New Zealand, and Taiwan. Internationally, hundreds of START members rallied together to clean up beaches and parks, build roofs and gardens, plant trees, and more. Locally, more than 100 Isagenix customers, employees, and their families helped to create 300 activity packets for kids staying at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital, 250 laundry detergent bags for families staying at a local Ronald McDonald House, and 29 welcome home signs for veterans placed in homes. Additionally, 450 pounds of food were collected for St. Mary’s Food Bank, six boxes of towels, blankets, newspapers, and clean plastic bags were contributed to the Arizona Humane Society, and up to 135 lives were saved through blood donations to the American Red Cross.

“I had goosebumps all day as I realized the impact of what was happening. There’s nothing more powerful than a movement that’s rooted in contribution. That’s why the START movement and Isagenix are so powerful. When everyone comes together to make a difference, it’s a massive leap for the world,” says Erik Coover, Isagenix Senior Vice President of Global Field Development.
