Isagenix Co-Founder Honored Among Most Influential Women in Direct Selling

Kathy Coover, Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of Isagenix International, was recently named as one of the most influential women in the direct selling industry by Direct Selling News (DSN) magazine.

According to DSN magazine “Direct Selling News selected this group of women based upon their executive leadership roles in companies that achieved inclusion in the DSN Global 100 list and the $100M Club. It comprises women who help guide our industry through their leadership and vision.”

Before co-founding Isagenix in 2002, Kathy was a top income earner at three different direct selling companies, and in 2013, she was honored by the American Business Awards with the Silver Stevie Award for Female Executive of the Year. She knows that network marketing is a vehicle for financial freedom, especially for women.

Kathy sees this honor as a reflection on our Associates, saying, “It’s really an award for our Associates, for all the hard work they have done to build this company. There is so much to be thankful for at Isagenix right now. Our momentum is astounding!”

Kathy’s focus on leadership development has helped sales skyrocket up an astonishing 1,300 percent in only five years. And just last year Isagenix reported revenues of approximately $448 million, up 26 percent over the prior year. According to Kathy, the success of the Isagenix business is based on real product consumption producing real results.

There are currently more than 300,000 active Associates worldwide in Isagenix. The products, referred to as “solutions,” include weight loss, energy and performance, healthy aging, and of course, wealth creation. The company has even been featured in leading health and wellness journals such Nutrition and Metabolism and the Nutrition Journal.

Kathy is very active with Isagenix sales associates and spends much of her time traveling to visit, mentor and encourage them. Her personal and hands-on approach to building relationships has resulted in a culture that she feels to be the company’s primary asset.

“It’s all about the people! Our events are like a big family reunion,” Kathy says. “It’s really important to us to maintain our culture as we expand. That’s why we travel so much!
