 Becomes Youngest Tournament Winner in History

After his resounding three-stroke win, Rahm moved up from 142nd to 46th in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Sponsored by Isagenix, the former ASU golfer spent 60 weeks as the number one amateur in the world before turning professional in June 2016, following his tie for 23rd in the U.S. Open. After becoming a professional, Rahm had shares of second and third among four top-25 finishes. Rahm earned full PGA Tour status after just seven events.

Rahm left his native Barrika, Spain, in 2012 to enroll at Arizona State University. Four years later, he had earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and won 11 collegiate events. In his final two years at ASU, Rahm was named the Ben Hogan Award as the top college player, unprecedented in the Award’s 27-year history.
