Isagenix Launches Organic and Premium Blend Coffees

New Product Supports a Healthy Lifestyle and Fits with Company’s Solutions to Transform Lives™.

Isagenix International, a leading global health and wellness company, expanded its product offerings with the launch of gourmet-blend premium and organic, slow-roasted ground coffee. The products were announced in San Diego, Calif., as part of the company’s annual Celebration event, which drew over 12,000 independent Isagenix Associates from around the world.

“Isagenix Coffee is an exceptional and distinctively delicious product that is produced under sophisticated environmental controls, not over-roasted, to retain coffee’s protective properties and distinguished flavor,” said Suk Cho, Ph.D., Isagenix Chief Science Officer. “These additions to our family of products represent a new solution for consumers looking for a wholesome coffee option to provide a satisfying energy boost to brain and body.”

The coffee beans that make up the gourmet blends are fairly traded arabica beans that are sourced from where coffee plants grow best at high altitudes in tropical climates of Mexico, Central, and South America. The beans are selected by a licensed coffee grader and medium roasted, then ground using a cool grind technology to preserve its natural components and flavor. Finally, nitrogen-flushed packaging helps prevent oxidation to maintain the coffee grounds’ freshness.

To reinforce antioxidant strength and to offset the coffee’s natural acidity, Isagenix Coffee is infused with green tea, trace minerals, and coconut oil. According to certified Q coffee graders who taste tested the product in anticipation of its launch, “The sample had a nut component in the taste with a creamy lingering finish. We were pleasantly surprised that the coffee flavor was in no way diminished with the adjuncts.” In addition, both Isagenix Coffees were rated significantly higher than several leading premium coffee brands in a blind taste test.

Coffee is a beverage consumed worldwide with more than 1.4 billion cups brewed on a daily basis. The United States accounts for approximately 45 percent of the intake with more than half of adults consuming at least a cup a day and the average drinker consuming three cups per day. Coffee sales have reached more than $18 billion worldwide making coffee the second largest traded commodity next to oil, according to Euromonitor.

In the last decade, mounting scientific evidence surrounding coffee’s association with lower body weight, cardiovascular health, and brain health have swayed health professionals toward the drink as a beneficial beverage. Most recently, three to five cups of coffee daily received an unprecedented endorsement from 2015’s Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee as being part of a healthy dietary pattern that is expected to further support coffee’s growth..

Both Isagenix Coffee artisanal-batch produced, gourmet blends come in 12-ounce packages. These are ideal for use in French presses and standard coffee makers. Each is available at US$12.95 for the Premium blend and US$14.95 for the USDA-Certified Organic.
