Isagenix Sponsors LPGA Olympics Pro Golfer Anna Nordqvist
First Female Athlete to Join Team Isagenix Elite
Isagenix, a global health and wellness products and solutions company, recently announced it’s newest professional athlete sponsorship of Anna Nordqvist, pro LPGA golfer and Olympic athlete currently ranked number 13 in the world.
“We are thrilled to welcome Anna to Team Isagenix Elite as our first female athlete,” said Jim Coover, Isagenix Owner & CEO. “Anna’s character and values, both on and off the course, are aligned with ours at Isagenix. She handles herself with grace and class and is an inspiration to many.”
Born in Eskilstuna, Sweden on June 10, 1987, Anna grew up playing sports with her two brothers and friends. After trying multiple sports, she fell in love with golf at the young age of 13. Once moving to the United States to attend Arizona State University in 2006, Anna quickly advanced through the ranks becoming the number one world amateur.
Since then she has won six times on the LPGA Tour and is a four time member of the European Solheim Cup team. Most recently she represented Sweden in the Rio 2016 Olympics.
“I really look forward to the opportunity to work with my good friend and former ASU teammate, Erik Coover, and the entire Isagenix family to maximize my performance and my overall well-being,” said Anna. “I’ve dealt with food allergies and intolerances since my youth, which has made traveling on tour difficult for me and my body. Isagenix products provide a convenient and nutritious way for me to stay healthy and fit while on the road.”
Anna is the second ASU graduate to join Team Isagenix Elite this year, joining PGA rising star, Jon Rahm. They are part of a pilot professional athlete sponsorship program at Isagenix.
Isagenix recognizes and supports athletes with significant achievements in a variety of athletic fields worldwide. Team Isagenix Elite sponsored athletes use Isagenix no-compromise products before, during and after training and games to support health and performance results.
